Carvelin
Carvelin was the first game project we made at Futuregames. It was a very short project, only two weeks worth of development time, including preproduction. The goal of the game was to create a party game with a fusion of two sports. Like the sensible people we were, we chose nascar and javelin throwing.
The game is set in a postapocalyptic desert, much like mad max. The goal was for the player to drive down the track and then crash into a wall at the top of a ramp, launching the passenger on top of the car like a javelin.
My role
I ended up being responsible most functions related to gameplay, such as making the car drive, the boost function and the scoring system after the player character was launched.
